As soon as I saw this game here, I just went straight to Steam to buy it. You should too, if you truly appreciate video games. Are you seriously suggesting that game developers are rolling in cash and don’t have families to support and feed themselves? They’re not some gods on another level separate from humanity. The internet has clearly fed your bias against game companies and prevented you from actually learning anything about how they operate.
They are SO many factors involved and you are willingly ignoring all of them just to complain about a product costing money. If you don’t have the budget, don’t blame the seller and perhaps reconsider the fact that video games are a luxury, not a right. You are not entitled to them. You are wrong. There wasn’t any money in the early days? NES released 1983 sold 61 million units.
Gameboy released 1989 sold almost 120 million. PS2 released 2000 is the highest selling console in history at 155 million. Honestly i think you must be 15 years old with your beliefs and you are posting your beliefs on the page for Okami???? This game doesnt have any DLC and is a great game that is worth a purchase. I like how you say ‘business isnt a charity’ but you think games should be given away for free. ‘corporations and devs arent entitled to money’ you’re completely right 🙂 let them spend their time making games and get nothing in return while you play for free and try to justify your actions “dont be tricked into believe new games wont come out if they’re not profitable” when modern games make millions of dollars to create hmmm unless by new games you’re fine with indie games only.
