Unlike Windows Installer, Inno Setup is a fast, lightweight installation tool. Rather than using a proprietary database for installation settings, it uses script files, which are just text files similar in structure to INI files. I use Innosetup to create installation files for my application. My application uses BDE so I use MiniReg to install it. I want BDE to be installed always into the same location which is: C: Program Files Common Files Borland Shared unfortunatelly MiniReg opens a dialog which allows user to change this destination.
