Forum rules Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area: 1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).
The authentic Amiga experience with the original Amiga Operating System. AmigaOS 4.1 is coming and has seen no less than 6 free major updates and at least 88 smaller updates released since then. Antec cooler software.
They sell a commercial package called Amiga Forever (which has it's own GPL violations, considering they package WinUAE into it as 'plugins', even though it's a GNU GPL-licensed application. (Win)UAE is dual-licensed in Amiga Forever, and is invoked as an external plugin.
The relevant WinUAE and RetroPlatform 'glue' source code is included in Amiga Forever and at. Relative to the invoked plugins, the Amiga Forever launcher is non-derivative under the terms of the GPL. Ive always wondered about how much it'd cost to license the never cared about AmgiaDOS 2.04 or 2.1. I'd love to build a box that uses an x86 cpu with a JIT based ROM to be AmigaDOS compatible, but really have no need for any custom chips. Meh, always a pipe dream.
