I remember around the time that Mogwai did the expanded reissue of Come On Die Young, they mentioned in interviews that they'd like to do the same for Rock Action, stating that they regretted making the record so short at the time and that there was easily a full disc's worth of outtakes that, with the benefit of hindsight, would have fit nicely on the record instead of some of the more wilfully odd tracks. However, since then, I've heard no mention of it. Anyone heard any rumblings? I'd love to hear the outtakes; that era of the band strikes me as one of their most intriguing and Rock Action always felt a little unfinished. Stuart (Plasmatron on Twitter) would probably answer if you asked him. He’s been very responsive any time I’ve asked him anything. I’ve asked him, as I’m curious as well.
